Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
A quick question, When you file PR under spousal category...do you get a Open Work Permit till you receive your PR. I heard that you don't get Open Work permit. Is it true or just a some nonsense.

What if you have a closed work permit? Need advice....

That's only if you're applying inland, though. No work permit for outland applications.

With an inland app, you get stage 1 approval/AIP after around 8 months from submitting. After AIP, you can only then apply for an OWP.

You can continue working under closed work permit during the application processing. If your closed work permit expires before you can get AIP and OWP, then you need to stop working.

I have a question. Is there a chance that stage 1 approval takes so long to get because too many fake relationships would be entered to get an OWP if stage 1 only took a month or so? That'll give someone almost a 14 month OWP until they are denied, with little effort
