Work Permit / Passport

Hi everyone,

I'am just new here in Canada as a Temporary Foreign Worker, I just want to ask, do work permit expiration also depends on the passport expiry date?

I just lost my job this month (lay off) I'am now trying to find a new employer and my passport will expire next year February.

Yes. CIC cannot issue permits or TRV beyond the expiry date of your passport.
