Work permit on hold!

I have completed my degree in canada, and applied for work permit on 15- sep but it has been put on hold on 10-oct.
I am very very worried. My application status says "On hold", what does it mean. Please tell me. Has it happened to anyone before? What happened in those cases?

No email. Just the status changed to "On hold".

I applied for my work permit extension on 30 Sep it's been on hold since 4th Nov. I got a email from them regarding one document they required, I submitted it on same day but the status is still on hold. Not sure what's going on. Did you get it any updates?

Hi, I have the same issue as well.
I applied for Post Graduate work permit on Sept. 30, and I was approved on Nov.7, but my status changed to on hold after few weeks.
I called them couple times and they told me that there was a system glitch. They told me that there is absolutely nothing I can do other than just waiting for it to come in to the mail.
I wasn't sure if there was anything wrong with my application or it was actually system glitch. However, it does make me feel relieved a little bit seeing that all of us applied for the work permit extension around the same time, and the status changed around the same time as well.
I haven't received anything from them yet though.
