Work Permit No autorized Re-entry

Hello everyone!!!! Someone can helpme?


I have my Work permit for 1 year because my wife, she was a contract as student in Qebec City for do the doctorate, about 3-4 years. And becasue is my spouse i get the work pemit. But i need to renovate every year meanwhile is doing the doctorate.

I only have my work permit and passport from Spain.

i could see my country no need visas for visit or transit :

cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp?country=Spain

With only the work permit and passport, i can go to my country to see my pather and mother , and then return , i dont know in... a month?

Is possible??

Your work permit says not authorized for re-entry because it is not a travel document. Don't worry about thay. A person needs a visa as a travel document or a passport. But since you are from a visa excempt. You shouldn't have a problem getting in or out.

You're visa exempt. Your passport is your travel document. However, neither your passport or work permit guarantee re-entry. You should take a copy of your wife's study permit and current transcript/class record/proof she's enrolled such as receipts to show the IO if needed.
