Work Permit LMIA exempt charitable worker

Hi all, I applied for my work permit from within Canada (I already have a job offer). At time of processing, CIC website stated 5 weeks, now states 6wks, however will have been 7 tomorrow. I have sent a follow up email, but that stated no reply will be given until 2 wks. Can CIC be contacted another way? Thanks

There's really nothing you can do but wait. The posted processing time is only an estimate (not a guaranteed or maximum processing time) and it's quite possible for processing to take longer - sometimes significantly longer.
