Hi there

I wanted to inquire about after getting your work permit from port of entry... is it necessary to get label/sticker of visa to passport to travel because on that visa letter its written at bottom "This doesn't authorize to re-entry". Plus if you got valid visitor visa too on your passport.
In my case,I traveled to Canada a month ago on visitor visa and while here i applied work permit at port of entry recently got my work permit letter on spot and now i wanted to travel back to Nz to windup my accounts and employment. I will be travelling back in 3 weeks.
So is there any problem to re-enter to Canada.

I will be really thankful if you give me suggestions on it.

Thanks.

Since you applied for Work Permit at the Port Of Entry(POE) your visitor visa is revoked as you are no longer a visitor in Canada...Inorder to come back you need to apply for TRV using your current Work Permit
Note :- This process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month

Hi

As you have a valid TRV, you can travel to Canada.

Incorrect. A TRV is a TRV. All that matters is that it is still valid.

Kamal - Were you able to enter into Canada using your TRV (Visitor Visa) along with your work permit letter issued during your first visit?
