I have work and study permit and I’m living in canada for 1 year already. My boyfriend and I are thinking to make the common law and after this he would come to canada to stay with me. We would like to know if there is a chance to sponsor him to get a work permit, so he would be able to work as soon as he get here in canada.

Your common-law partner can get a work permit if you have a study permit or work permit (usually). However, for you two to be common-law, you have to live together for 12 months with no breaks. If you are not common-law already, then he can't get a work permit now based on your status.

We are dating for 6 years, and we didn’t have any break (distance) until I travel to Canada. We can make the document of common-law in my country and translate, because there, we don’t need to live together to prove common-law. If we do it in our country, and translate, is it ok? Can we continue the process based on this? Or we need to do it by canadian law?(12 months living together)

You would have to do it based on Canadian law. So you would have had to have lived together for 12 months to be common-law for immigration purposes. If you are married, you could apply right away.
What country are you from?

We are from Brazil. But if we get married right now (this year), will I be able to sponsor him? Because my work permit and study permit I got as a single person. Isn’t it a problem? Will I need to re-apply for it? Or nothing changes in my case?

I would suggest posting this in the Foreign Worker section of this forum. since you are not a PR or Canadian citizen, you would not be going through spousal sponsorship. people on this board are PRs/Canadian citizens sponsoring their spouses for PR status. your question is specific to adding a spouse to a work permit, so you will have better luck getting answers on the other board.

I would like to thank everyone who gave me advices and helped me with this questions.
Thank you again!

PS: I posted it already in the page that you advised me. Thank you.
