Work permit extension refused before the expiry date of the current work permit

Hi there,

Out of curiosity, if my current work permit is valid until June 2024, and my application for an extension is refused before the June 2024, would I still be able to work until the expiry date of my current work permit (June 2024), or would I have to stop working once immediately?

I edited my question a little bit to make it more clear. I wrongly said "rejection" rather that "refusal".

So, given this, if the application is refused before the expiry date, would I have to immediately stop working as soon as the application is refused, or would the current work permit be still valid (after the refusal, which is until June).

You can work until current work permit expiry date.
