Work Permit Extension Refusal

Hello, I need some advise.
I got a positive LMIA and the work permit extension was applied based on the LMIA.
Unfortunately, my work permit was refused. REASON - not satisfied that the offer of employment is genuine”
I have applied for the notes but I am worried as my LMIA is only valid until July.
I have to apply for the WP extension before that.
I have even applied for my PR under CEC but I am worried now with the above situation.
has anyone gone through something like this? Or have any views to share?

Do you have a valid work permit? If you do and you have applied for PR, why not just apply for a BOWP?
