Work permit extension processing time

Hello everyone,

My spouse has a work permit till 2023 Jan but mine is up to April 26, 2021 (till next month) because my passport is expiring on April 26, 2021, but I already renewed my passport, and today, I applied for a work permit extension. Does anyone have experience or know anything about work permit extension processing time with the recent situation? I need to travel outside of Canada in the first week of April for a month so I am not sure I will be able to get new WP and TRV as well.

I applied for PGWP extension on Jan 26 and got approved on Feb 20. Hope this helps
