I am currently on open work permit in Canada but I am unemployed. I am preparing for few certifications which are mandatory for my job of interest. I applied for PR under quebec skilled worker category on October 6th 2016 and i passed the medical tests. I might get my PR anytime soon.
But I have a problem now, My work permit is expiring on the 7th of nov 2017 and the 13month deadline for my pr application will be done on November 6th 2017. So if the processing takes any longer i will be out of status.
and i cant apply for work permit extension now as I am unemployed and i cant wait till the last day coz we have to apply for any status atleast 30days before our permit expires.
I am very worried and any suggestion would be of great help.
