thank you for reading this posting in advance. I went to university in Canada and worked for 2.5 years with PGWP. I had no chance to get any PNP or ITA. My company applied LMIA for me to support PR last summer, and I just heard that my LMIA has been rejected due to advertising requirements. The lady from government was very supportive. She said if we resubmit LMIA with proper advertisement, we might get positive LMIA this time. I know my PGWP extension will be rejected, then I will apply for restoration of visitor status.
my question is;
1. Can my company apply for LMIA for me while I stay in Canada as visitor?
2. In this case, should I apply for dual-intent work permit paying $1000?
3. Can my wife apply for spouse work permit together with me?
