So, this takes a little explaining but bare with me.
I am a US citizen about to graduate college this upcoming May. I recently got hired at a company in Montreal fresh out of school but a work permit requires a diploma/transcript as proof that I have a degree in order to obtain my work permit.

The problem is, I graduate May 31st and my contract with the company in Montreal starts June 10th (10 days later) and my school doesn't send out diplomas until 8-10 weeks after graduation. They also take about 2 weeks to update my official transcripts to show I have a degree.

What can I do? What document could I present to IRCC? I have an official "expected to graduate" letter from my school but I have a feeling that isn't going to be enough.

I'm very new and inexperienced with immigration and work permits so any advice or magic problem solving would be amazing. Thank you!
