Hi, I applied for a spousal work permit which got refused and now I am planning to go see my husband in Canada for few days. I have a tourist visa already. I don't work as i recently graduated, can i be denied entry to Canada because of work permit refusal?

Can i tell the agents at the port of entry that i will visit my husband and he will pay for my expenses, what documents can i show to make my case strong?

Unfortunately nobody here can really say what may or may not happen. Assuming you have a valid visitor visa, a return ticket and no indication when/if asked of any intention to stay longer than your return ticket you could be fine. Always with CBSA only answer questions asked honestly but do not volunteer any extra information and simply do not over think things else you you will go crazy with worry for no reason.

True, I searched a lot and i couldn't see once case where someone was deported just because of a work permit denial. So i believe if i have my return ticket then we should be fine. I don't think there should be a problem for a wife having a tourist visa to be able to visit her husband.
