Dear All,

I have heard different stories regarding Changing of Work Permit to PR. One Common story is that your work permit must be of Middle Management position to be converted into PR. If this story is true what about people who are not on Middle Management Position?

How long does it take to convert WP into PR. People say 1-Year?

Please do help

Nas

Once you have one year of full time skilled work experience in Canada, you can qualify to apply for PR through the Canadian Experience Class program. This does not mean you will have PR in a year. You will just qualify to apply after a year.

One can apply for pr if his/her work permit is under noc level 0, A or B which means under skilled worker catagory. It depends all upon the NOC code of the work permit.
