Hello,
I have tried to search the forum for an answer but couldn't find one, so here is my question: french citizen living in US since 10 years, I am being transferred by my company to work in Montreal. I have a letter from my company (job offer / contract) + labor market opinion exemption letter. I have been told by co-workers that if I show up at the immigration agents at the airport in Montreal by these letters and supporting documentation, they will do my work permit directly.
Anybody ever heard of this?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help or advice!

Yes - this is how it works. Your company should give you a letter though for the visa officer asking to grant you the work permit
