I am starting this tread to find out if anyone applying for a work permit at the Jamaica Visa Office this year has received a result. I applied online on the 26th of February. I follow the updates on the High Commission's Facebook page and they haven't processed any work permit applications received through the local visa office yet this year. Not sure if they haven't received any paper applications this year. I suppose it would be a possibility because TFW program has become so restricted lately. They do not provide any updates on online applications and my status still says open. After waiting forever for my LMIA I just want the wait to be over. It would help if anyone could share their own experiences here as well.
