Hi, Unsure if i should be posting this here or under the Temporary Workers section.
I have a BCPNP nomination and there is a condition in it that I need to apply for my work permit by Dec 6.
However, I am still waiting for a reply to my VisitorRecord application and I am unable to apply for a work permit before that.
On the IRCC work permit page, under Who Can Apply, one of the eligibility requirements states that I can apply for a work permit if "you're waiting on a decision on an application for permanent residence from inside Canada" (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...work-canada/permit/temporary/eligibility.html)
QN 1: Do I fall into that "waiting on a decision" category once I submit my PR application?
QN 2: If, I do, in the work permit wizard on IRCC, there is a section where I need to enter the expiry of my current status. What should I put there? My current date has lapsed and I am waiting for the outcome of my visitor record.
Anyone been in this position? Help me!
