I applied for a temporary work permit on August 2nd this year and it has been in review of eligibility for almost a month. I contacted the visa office where my application is and they said this:
This is in reference to your inquiry below.
Your application is still under assessment and no further action is required by you at this time. We will contact you if we require additional information or when your visas have been approved.
