Hello,

I was an international student in Canada and I made a EE profile, I got an ITA as well. But in my work history I enter the following information for the work i did during my study permit. I am not sure if it is incorrect or not.

Do any of the following conditions apply:
Working legally in Canada during this time?

A person must have:

  • been working on a valid work permit or exempt from needing one,
  • had legal status the whole time they were in Canada, and
  • not stayed longer than the approved time period.
(required)
YES

Studying full-time while doing this job? A person must be in class at least 15 hours per week during the academic year to be considered full-time. This includes any period of training in the workplace that is part of the study program. (required)
YES

Which of these categories does Your job fall under? (required)

WORK PERMIT REQUIRED, NO LMIA REQUIRED.

Please advice ASAP.

Not sure what you're asking. Did you qualify under FSW or CEC?

In that case, you cannot claim any points for work experience gained while studying. If you got the ITA on the basis of your work done during your studies, you need to refuse the ITA. If you don't, it will be rejected in any case.

If you qualify and have enough points for the ITA without this work experience (say you worked here for three years on a work permit before you started studying), then you can move this experience under personal history and continue your application.

The work I did during my study was not skilled based, i gained my skilled work experience during work permit.

do I need to attach LOA for this or its fine?

Yes, then just move this work experience to your personal history. The qualifying work experience was not gained while you studied, so it's fine.

You can attach a letter if you like but it doesn't really matter much.
