Work Experience requirement for CEC?

Hey I studied Mechanical Engineering Technology Design 3 years and right now I am working as Computer Service Technician since 5 months.

My question is can I apply under CEC with my current job?

Do they (Immigration) need work experience in the same field of your education in Canada?

no, it does not need to be related to your field of study however it needs to be one of SKill level A, B or O
