Hello there,

I have put up mine NOC as 0124, running mine own Internet Media Private Limited company from past six years (Six years will complete on June 02, 2017).

I work with clients from all across the globe.

Mine question is that if mine clients provide me reference letters through internet i.e. via email, containing everything information CIC requires ~ stamped and signed on their letter head ~ shall this be usable? OR do I require hard copy only? as bringing the hard copy from them will cost me very much, say over $300 for three to five letters.

Also, a case to discuss, I worked with one Canadian company for two months ~ the employee of that company with whom I work throughout the project now don't work their ~ so will it be fine, if she provides me her own written letter mentioning everything with her contact details over it so that if CIC requires to verify, they can contact her.

Last, how many reference letters do you think will look for six years experience. I got over 400 pages of PayPal invoices, all collected from past six years ~ mine 99% billing done through PayPal which then transferred to mine company's bank account.

Please suggest.

Well the main thing CIO will look is that company actually exists and secondly it is owned by you. So, you will need to provide registration certificate or certificate of incorporation, maybe any document that shows shares owned if applicable.

Once you have satisfied CIO in regards to company then you will need two further evidences. Firstly, payments received that can be proved through PayPal. I guess PayPal will have summaries available for each year so you can use it. A detailed Payment History for the current Year can be attached.

You can ask few major clients to provide you letters in accordance to CIC and you will be fine. You need to attach soft copies so no need for spending $300.

Finally, you should wait for other suggestions as well. Maybe a person who have gone through this all will be able to guide you better.

I do have the following documents ready with me -

1. Company Incorporation Certificate (Issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
2. Director Identification Number (as I am one of the company's director while other is mine mother, again issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
3. Billing done through PayPal (data worth of over 400 pages; average 1000 to 1500 transaction per year, all the transactions are majority in USD)
4. Company's Income Tax Return (Duly Signed and Attested by CA; although it is in loss)
5. Share certificate - as I too got 14% shareholding in the company.
6. Mine Own Income Tax Return ~ taking salary from five years as of now (after first year of company's operation).
7. Since Mine company is an internet media company, I got huge presence over the web ~ got number of publications, radio station and lots more which I developed in all these six years of existence.
8. Interviews of mine published in various publications.

Also a question, the company got one loan on it ~ do you think will it be a problem as it is mentioned in the Income Tax Return paper (point 4 above) although the company is a private limited company (a whole separate entity). OR also, do is it required to show the Company's Income Tax Return paper.

And, in the client reference letter ~ what do you think it must includes, keeping self employment in mind?

Client Reference Letter needs only two main things in it. Firstly, services provided and then, payment details for these services. Any Official Letter having these information will be sufficient.

You don't need to submit Income Tax Returns for yourself or for the Company it is not required. I have attached the link below, read Proof of Work
