Hey guys,
For my Work Experience I currently have 138 weeks of work outside of Canada. This means I still need 18 weeks to get my 3rd year of experience and thus 25 extra points. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this but I'm having a hard time finding the right information on how it all works.
I have worked as a contractor for about 30 weeks in Canada on a Working Holiday Visa. Can I use this experience for the 18 weeks that I need or is this experience useless because it happened to be in Canada and is less than 1 year?
Additionally I should add that I haven't actually got around to filing my taxes for the work I did during my Working Holiday Visa. Would that be an issue?
The work was in 2015 so I think I could still file these taxes if necessary/helpful.
I also have about 30 weeks worth of experience in Belgium for clients but this was under the table so I'm unsure if I should add this experience.
I've registered a company on February 14. If i officially charge a client, does it matter that I did the work while the company wasn't registered yet or should I just work for 18 more weeks officially now. This last option I would rather avoid since I'm hoping to move to Canada as soon as possible but if it needs to be done then so be it.
Do I need to show anything other than a reference letter and payments?
Looking forward to your answers and advice. I realise it's a bit of a messy situation for these 18 weeks :-[
