Hey guys,
its says your work experience must be continuously .. so if i had 2 years and 7 months work experience and then got promoted and worked on the new position for a year and half, does this count 4 years of work experience 21 points ?

Yes, 2years 7 months will fulfill the 1 year continuous work experience criteria.
Yes, 2yrs 7months + 1year 6 months will fulfill the 4 years work experience criteria for 21 points.

BobbyB:
How many years will be counted if only one of these positions is in the 38 eligible NOC occupations?

Hi BobbyB:
From the link you sent me it looks like all of the work experience during the last 10 years in occupations in the NOC (Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A/B) will be counted upto 4 years (except restricted occupations). Out of the 4 years at least 1 year continuous work experience must be in the 38 eligible NOC occupations. Is this correct?

I was wondering where did you get "OP6.pdf" document?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/search/index.aspx

search for Manual OP06-eng.pdf

If one is working part time with his full time education. How many points shall he award himself for two years of part time experience in which he was working about seven hours per day and six days a week?

Is it really part time if you work 7hours per day, 6 days per week.

You could (7hours/day) * (6 days/week) * (52 weeks / year) * (2 years) / (37.5 hours/week* 52 weeks/year)

Just confirm that full time work experience is 37.5 hours / day.

Since you worked around 42 hours per week, you could go the easier route and just say you worked 2 years full time.

What do others think?

Yes, just write 2 years full time.
