My current employer has an organization policy of not providing any letters esp. for self-arranged immigration purpose apart from statement that I have been employed with them since a particular date as a Consultant <formal job title>. My immediate manager would not hesitate in giving the letter but, he cannot do that on the company letterhead because it is against organization policy.

The checklist mentions that we need to provide an explanation if the a letter from the employer can't be arranged.

Can someone guide if there is any issue or rejections in case the letter can't be arranged. If yes, pls guide me how to proceed on this.

I already had faced this problem while apply for permanent resident visa to canada. I had sent a letter, whatever written on it from my company, with a detailed explanation letter that according my company policy my supervisor is unable to give a detailed experience letter and hence i m providing you a detail of my duties instead. After submitting this letter, visa office did not even demanded a single letter from me on subject matter but processed the application in time and now issued medical for me. so don,t wory

Thanks Pakistan for your response. I appreciate the quick response.

I strongly suggest that you contact your visa office regarding this. I had a friend in such situation at the London office, but her had problems processing his works because he did not informed the visa office about this but instead sent a letter by himself. So, tell them about this it will go well.
Good luck.
