Work experience Letter for closed work permit

Hi,
When I sent docs in May after receiving ITA for Canadian PR, I sent work experience letter for experience till April 2022. Now, while applying for closed work permit in August 2022 from India in same province, can I submit same letter (the one that's dated April 2022), or should it be dated August 2022?

If you send the same letter it will show that you have left your job.

Hi Taran, how would it imply this ? It says currently working on the work reference letter and is dated April 2022. If we only specify the "from" date and don't mention "to" date in the work permit form for the duration of employment, then I believe it would suffice. And if they want additional documentation from April till August, they may ask for it, and we could provide it then.

Ok I thought you said till April 2022, my bad. Yes if you still working then let it be till date. But the thing is if you had submitted this back dated letter, they will most probably ask for a new one. So if you can get it why not attach a present date one that would probably avoid the officer one less excuse to put your application in wait. I wish they won't ask you a new one but just in case. Rest is entirely upon you, just my thoughts.
