Hi Everyone!

First of all I wanted to thank everyone who stays on this forum even after completing their immigration process. It's so nice of you to help others.

My question is:

If I finish gaining my 1 year of work exp in April 2014 - with my aplication I'm going to send a T4 for 2013 as well as NOA for 2013 (right?). So basically, the part of exp I got in 2014 (Jan-Apr) is kind of in the shadow for the officer who reviews my case? I mean other than seeing it on the reference letter from my employer there is no other way to verify that period?

Thanks!

Yes, 2013 tax info. For the exp in 2014, apart from the letter, you may also attach the most recent pay stub before submission to be safer if you want, but you don't have to.

you can use the company letter and your pay stub to verify 2014 work experience.

You will apply with 2013 T4/NOA. If CIC is concerned about your Jan-Apr (2014) Taxes, they will ask for it later (but i highly doubt that, because if you apply in May 2014, all goes well you will become PR by March 2015).

We have the same case. I completed my first year this February. I don't even have my T4 for 2013 as of this writing. I am attaching a cover letter to my application stating that I am submitting my T4/NOA for 2013 when it becomes available and payslips from January to February 2014 to prove the one year paid work.

Thank you for your replies!

Hovewer, my question was from slightly different point of view. Does the Immigration Officer has any tools to verify that exp in 2014 is legit? If the reference letter says that person worked for a year and all tax documents are ok for 2013, the only option for him is to do a reference check, or they do have other tools?

Thanks!
