work experience for express entry

I have been working as supervisor since Dec 2019. I got laid off in April and joined back again in August under same profile. Now i want to create profile for express entry. My concern is that under work experience section, should i enter two separate work experiences or can i put it all as one experience?
Please help me with this.

If you’re not working between April and August then declare work as separate.

You’ll get two document placeholders. If you get only one reference letter from your employer for both experiences, then just upload it twice. No problem with that.
