Hi everyone,
I am in Canada on an LMIA supported work permit (valid until 2018). I am going to apply to Express Entry and hope that I can get PR status that way. I have two questions.

Under the new system (beginning on the 19th), does my current LMIA earn me 50 points? It was an LMIA in support of temporary work as well as PR;
I have a decade of experience in my profession (systems analyst) but no education (only a high school diploma, but I have just always had a knack for computers). Is there a problem with not having the required education listed in the NOC code? Or will the officer be satisfied based on my experience?

Thanks everyone.

You don't need the matching education however it will only get you 50 points.

As long as you ALSO have a written offer of full-time employment for at least one year after becoming a permanent resident, yes, you should get the 50 points.

No, no problem, but of course you will have fewer points than those with education.
