Hello everyone,
First of all Happy Holidays to everybody!
I was wondering if someone could give some inputs on this.
We applied for inland spousal application and submitted it this month, application received dec 6th by CPC-V. I am living with my hubby (Canadian citizen) here in Edmonton,AB. We just moved here almost 2 months ago from Nova Scotia. My hubby got a full-time work which he really likes(working on fiber optics, where there is not much in NS). I am a registered nurse, I was able to work in Nova Scotia, but really really having a hard time finding employment here in Alberta. I was already almost hired, scheduled for medical, etc. in a hospital but when I asked them if they will help me get an LMO and work visa, they declined and said they stopped getting LMOs and work visa since last year. And this also goes with all (I'd say) hospitals, nursing homes and clinics here in Alberta. I am getting frustrated. Being a full-time wife is a very good feeling but I am still looking to practice my profession and work in a healthcare facility and grow as an individual. I am now applying in Nova Scotia as a nurse (it is easier to get an LMO/work visa there).
My question is: Me working in NS would affect our application? Would they question us why are we not living together? We decided to see each other atleast once a month, one flying to one province and talk a lot through phone calls and skype.
Can we not declare that I will work in Nova Scotia and still put our residential address the same(in Edmonton)? Is there any chance the immigration would find out?
Thanks in advance.
