There is a big difference between a taxi driver and an electrician. One is low skilled and the other is a skilled tradesman. There is no chance for a taxi driver to immigrate. If you are a long haul truck driver in certain provinces and you get sponsored by your employer, then maybe. It is a lot easier if you are a skilled tradesman. If you want to do that, apprentice as an electrician and gain 2-3 years of work experience in your home country. Then you need an employer in Canada to apply for your LMIA in order for you to be able to apply for your immigration. Or a work permit leading to immigration. But sometimes getting that job offer is not easy. However, that goes for low skilled jobs too.
