Work and education at the same time

Is work experience (full-time) during university studies going to count towards the CRS score, if the city of the workplace was not the same city as the one where the university is? They're both in the same country, outside Canada.

Does it make a difference if the studies were full-time or part-time?

I have read that, but I it was mentioned somewhere that this is only true when the city of the workplace and university are the same. It would not get invalidated even when they wouldn't be the same?

It was somewhere on the forum. I agree it's ridiculously specific but you never know with IRCC requirements. I'm glad it's not true.
