Withdrawn profile and UCI

Hi guys ,
I was in there pool with low score since mar 2017 .now with better ielts score I made a new profile with same gc key ( withdrew old one ) as it was anyway expiring in early march ..
My qts is -
For the qts have u applied to ircc before should I answer yes / no ? ( I just made profile ,never got ita or applied for any other visa )

Also
My last profile had uci no. Next to mine and spouse name ..but I read on some threads that it is generated only after medical ..
Plz guide ..thanks !

if you have a UCI number assigned to you in the old profile, you can choose the answer as yes. You always can explain about your withdrawn profile.

The response above is incorrect.

If you've never applied for a study/work/visitor permit OR if you've never submitted an e-APR then the answer is "no"

Creating a profile does not constitute applying to IRCC. The UCI you have is irrelevant.

Oh ..thanks for ur answer ..plz clarify if hard-copy of Wes eca is needed or soft copy will do for uploading ? Thanks
