hello everyone,

I have submitted my application in july 2014, now can i withdraw money from my bank account.

P.S: I will deposit money if needed in future.

thanks

You should really leave the money in the bank until after you PR visa has been approved and you have landed in Canada. At any time during the processing of your application CIC could ask to see additional proof of funds. If they see they money is no longer there or if they see you have withdrawn the money and then quickly replaced it - they may believe the money is not yours and you borrowed it from someone else - and refuse your application. Sometimes they will ask applicants to supply six months of bank statements to prove the money is yours. If you can't do this - you could have problems.

Lucky boy,

If you need money for any urgent matter, you can withdraw but offcourse it is not adviseable to withdraw all in any case. Once you fulfill your demands, arrange money and deposit back into your account. You must be ready to convince the visa officer why you withdrew money and from where you earn it for deposit back.

If you are lucky enough that visa officer doesn't ask you to provide updated proof of funds, then you can get PR visa even with zero balance in your account or minimal funds.

Sir

You are free to use your money. there is no binding on part of CIC to hold these funds for indefinate period.

CIC / VO verifies statement of account that is submitted , they do not ask for current balance , and neither are authorised to ask these from banks.

For all these reasons , POF is checked / is mandatory at POE at the time of landing

Stay Blessed

I agree. I had to withdraw funds too. Processing times are way longer to just leave the money in account. :)

And I would be making entry shortly. Being FSW, we are required to carry POF or funds themselves so it won't be an issue in future.
