If my spouse cancel our application, will i ( main applicant) see this information? Website where I linked our app with gckey still has no information about it. How long would it take to see this update? Thank you!

And does it mean now it's impossible to obtain any visa except for coming through EE? Even through PNP because they are mostly based on having a job offer right?

You'll see the application was withdrawn / canceled but you won't see why online. However if you order your GCMS notes, you will certainly see the reason why (i.e. sponsor withdrew the application). I don't know how long it will take to see this update.

No, I wouldn't say it's impossible to obtain any visa except coming through EE. EE is only one option of several. There are PNP program that do not require job offers. There are also a few other economic immigration streams like start up visa and self-employed.

You can also apply for a temporary visa such as a TRV, study permit, or work permit (provided you have a job offer + LMIA).

Thank you for your help. I guess if I see an update and the next step of processibg our application, it will mean it's not cancelled.

If you are not in communication with your spouse you wouldn’t actually qualify for sponsorship. One of the requirements for landing is proof that you are still in a relationship so you should be denied if your sponsorship isn’t withdrawn.

Yeah, we've argued but we are still in relationships

Well it up to you decide if you want to be financially responsible for the person for 3 years and repay the government if your spouse receives social assistance. If you separate you could only sponsor another partner after 3 years. If the relationship isn’t going well during the sponsorship I would suggest not sponsoring until you are sure this relationship will be successful. You have until he lands to withdraw your sponsorship after that it will be very hard for him to lose PR.
