WITHDRAWAL OF PAPER SOWP APPLICATION

Hi all,

I have an active Spousal Open Work Permit in process. Its a paper based application with upfront medicals that was submitted at VFS Bangalore along with my passport. I would like to recieve my passport back for some formal documentation. Is it possible to withdraw just the passport or I should withdraw my application?
If I withdraw a paper based application, how long does it usually take to receive my passport back ?

Kindly help !
