How can I withdraw an application I sent about 3 weeks ago? It hasn't reached the processing stage yet.

The best way to withdraw your application is simply call your bank and ask for stop payment. CIO will return your application with any delay.

I mentioned my NOC wrong and in the C category so i want to withdraw and reapply, it was a bank draft so it's already been deducted. Is there an e-mail I can reach them at?

I know I was the first person who noticed your NOC falls in category C in feb spreadsheet. Than I discussed with Goku and he informed you. If I were you I would prepare another application with cover letter explaining the prior situation in detail and send it again with CC details

Thanks for point that out!!

So what happens to the previous app and the payment? Refund?

I am not sure about bank draft how it's gonna work out. Most likely you will get a refund with your application. perhaps, it will take a while because they will issue you a cheque for refund I guess.

Don't worry they will return your application instead of issuing you AOR. They will return your draft as well. Start preparing your another application and when you receive previous application back send another a very next day after replacing documents from your previous file to new one. You cant withdraw your application at this point because they or you have nothing to trace your file (i.e. File number). So wait until you receive your original application and in mean time start preparing new one.

Well, that's not entirely true. You can still withdraw the application (before receiving AOR). Check this post: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/withdraw-cec-application-t152742.0.html;msg2738537#msg2738537

Second that, it's worth a try. In some cases they're not able to find the application package tho and will issue the AOR, in
which case you will loose the application fee. And then you can withdraw and reapply.

As per my knowledge they do pre-screening before issuing AOR. If your NOC is no eligible they return your file and processing fees too. They never issue AOR. I saw 5-6 cases in this forum.

Right. As noted earlier, the AOR will not be forthcoming, as the CIO now weeds out applications that don't claim at least 12 months' experience in eligible NOCs.

Sit back, relax and wait for the application package to come back.

Will this be a red flag when I re-apply or should a cover letter explaining my mistake suffice?

My PGWP expires april next year so I'm beginning to get stressed.

Thanks for your help.

'No record is kept' of your application if they return it before AOR.

Agree with LPS. No record is been kept in their system as they never processed you application.
