Hi, I filed my CEC application in 2011, but haven't heard anything till Late Nov. 2012. CIC is asking me for a interview in early 2013. I ordered caips in August 2012. Apparently, VO is questioning my salary in the first 4 months(from the same year's NOA), when my employer only agreed to pay me close to minimum wage during my probation. I totally forgot it when I prepare my CEC documents. The first 4 months salary does not match the salary in the reference letter. I tried to contact my employer, and hoping he could issue some explanation about the low salary, but he refused. He didn't want to issue any more letter for my PR application at all.
Now I am considering to withdraw my application, and maybe file a new application later. I am currently working in a better company, with a higher salary. I think this time i will stay working in the same company when i apply for my PR. My concern is, if I withdraw now, will my previous withdrawn affect my new case possible in 2013? Also, i suppose to give CIC a reply about whether attending the interview. I am seriously thinking to withdraw my application now while replying to CIC. Do i need to list a reason? Or can I simply say i want to withdraw my application? My 2013 new application will only rely on my new working experience, since I left my previous JOB in 2010.
Your comment will be sincerely appreciated!
My other concern is, if i don't go to the interview, and don't inform VO, will VO request a reason later? I think I've read a case somewhere that this happened to another applicant.
