Hello every one,
I am graduating from a University in Toronto soon, and my husband has a work permit which applied under my study permit. When I graduate, I will get a work permit. When I apply for my work permit, can my husband apply one too? or he has to wait till i get a job? please help!

I believe this has the info you are after: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/students/post-grad.asp#wb-auto-12 (click the link to open the summary). Seems like you have to have a job first for him to apply for the exemption, as you need a letter from your employer.

You must have a full time job that is NOC A, B or 0 before your husband can apply for an OWP.
