Hi, im currently working for a company in the UK as a software developer and work remotely. Im moving out to Canada with a 2 year work permit with my partner very soon and Im hoping to get work experience to top up my EE points. Also applying for an Alberta PNP would be very beneficial.
First off im not sure whether PNP is very likely and if not whether to just open the job search to anywhere in canada, not just alberta, which will give me work experience points.
2nd I enjoy my current UK based job and I am able to keep working for them from canada. However, this obviously wont give me any work experience points. Im wondering if theres a way i can set up my own company in alberta (if this is possible on a work permit) and then charge my company in the UK my salary and pay myself. Obviously I would have to pay taxes etc in canada.
Is this possible at all or is there any way i can do this and have it count as work experience for EE?
Thanks
