my friend who is a psychiatric patient got arrested by mall security and got banned from the mall for 5 years will this affect her cic status.The police didn't charge her of any crime and let her go after questioning her will this be recorded in her cic application

If she was not officially charged under any code, she should be fine I would assume. You could always request a criminal record check independently to make sure there is nothing in her record.
