Hi,

I'm form India.
My friend has Economics and Business background... but he may get accepted to "INTERDISCIPLINARY MASTER'S PROGRAMME IN SOCIAL SCIENCE (THESIS BASED, 2 YEARS)" in Univ. of Regina, Sask. It is a quality programme in a recognized University. Will there be STUDY/COURSE MISMATCH? This course..is interdisciplinary...and anyone form diverse/professional background can join this course..on top it is research based.... will the CHC still reject visa..for course mismatch? Can my friend write a short explanation letter (as applying under Genral-Univ.) as to why he is pursuing this course and his interest to do research in social sciences? Any real chance..of him getting the visa?

you should explore the forum and will get to know that how many visa's has been rejected due to study mis match , YES this is something we seriously need to consider , although you are a true student and you have true intentions to study of particular course
