Hi everyone,
So I am doing my undergraduate thesis as a continuation from my last co-op term this summer, therefore I am registered as full-time student this term. My supervisor agreed to compensate me for my time working in the lab. I thought this should be legitmate because the thesis guideline says "The thesis term does not get paid. In some settings (industry, government) the supervisor is mandated to only have paid employees, in those cases, payment is acceptable."
The concern arises as I submitted my study permit extension last month. In the proof of financial support section, I included my job offer for this term. My question is will they confuse my situation as working full-time while studying full-time?

Some background:
- The current job is a full time (37.5 hr/week) on-campus job. It is the same position as my last Co-op term job.
- I have Co-op work permit and the confirmation that I am allowed to work off-campus; my study permit makes me eligible for on-campus jobs.

Thanks in advance for the help
Sam
