I got my PR and am landing in Canada soon. My name on all my educational documents and DL in India has contracted intials (eg. Rishi F. as opposed to Rishi Ferrrari). My passport has the name fully expanded.
This was how I applied for my PR and it was never questioned and I got my PR without having to provide any additional documents.
Now, once I am in Canada, will this be a problem while getting a job, or applying for a DL (my DL history/extract would have the contracted name, so not the same as passport or PR card)

Has anyone, especially those from south of India where this name contraction is common, experienced adverse situation due to this? Will employers who look at past work records/experience letters/education documents reject them?

not my case but i don't think so. no one here has asked my for my diplomas at any time and if you apply for a DL just use your non contracted name and explain. stick to one from now on
