I will like to know what to do, i wrote my citizenship test in February 2013, my country passport expired, my PR card will expire in June 2013,
I called the CIC office to find out what must I do if I must renew my passport as I am unable to know whether I failed the test or not, the person that answer the phone told me that they dont know if i pass or not, and as to whether i should renew my passport or not I have to find out from my Country Immigration. My question was do I need a valid PR card and a valid passport to uplift my Citizenship.....I think my country law has nothing to do with Canadian Law. and how will it take for me to know the result of my test. Thanks.

Usually you are asked for oath about 3 months after the test if you passed but sometimes it takes longer. You don't need a valid passport or PR card in order to go to the ceremony but if it drags on and you need to travel, you can renew your passport through your country embassy in Canada and you can renew your PR card too.
