Hi there :)

I submitted me application a while ago and now I am waiting for decisions and a question occured to me:
Have the immigration office asked you to provide tax details from your country of origin? Have they ever asked you to prove that you were paying taxes in your country of origin or any other country than you lived/worked in (excluding Canada).

I would very very very appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.

Hundred thanks in advance and have a great day everyone! :)

Hi,
No they normally dont ask for the tax details if you have shown the sufficient funds you needed for Canada.

Cheers

Hi Saki, thanks for your reply :)

What you mean by "sufficient funds for Canada" is that I have enough money to support myself while I am here in Canada, right?

Thanks :)

I have been asked to submit tax details of specific years when I was in my country. Just show them documentations that prove you paid the tax in your country according to the law of your country.
