Will I receive a letter ?

Hi,

two months ago I sent my application in Dec 2014 for grant of citizenship, and i haven't received anything either in mail or email.

Also checked the status of my application, and it shows me that nothing was found when i inquire an application status.. I know its too early, I just wants to know the normal procedure, do they send a letter or they dont? and if they do.. after how many months approx from the time I sent my application ?

It takes 1 - 4 months to receive acknowledgement either by email or by mail. Please be patient, I am also a december applicant and waiting for acknowledgement.
 
Looking through the Dec thread people around the first week of Dec well atleast one person received AOR so far. So do be patient it does take anywhere between 1 to 3 months before you get the AOR following which another 3 to 5 days before ECAS is activated.
