will i loose my current status with my pr application

hi i am an international student here . if i submit my inland application and if i go to my country to visit for few days do i need to apply for a visitor visa again for coming back to canada . I allready have a visa with multiple entry to canada and a valid study permit and both of them will expire in 2019. so will i loose my student status here as i have applied for the sponsor application ? and do i need to apply for a visitor visa again to return back in canada ?

you won't lose your status if you leave the country during your Rp application. since you have multiple entry visa you can exit and enter Canada with no problem. But people say that if you apply inland and for any reasons your entry is denied then you would face with a refusal of your application and you can't apply again. however, I have friends who leave the country and come back with no issue.

submitting a pr application has nothing to do with the validity of your current student visa. one thing has nothing to do with the other. your student visa stays active until you land and become a PR.
