Will I be rejected for Canadian PR process if my CLB score is less than 9?

Hello Everyone,

I am from India and I have to applied apply for Canadian PR under FSWC (Foreign Skilled Worker Class) as a Professional. I have secured 68 points during my evaluation. I have yet to appear for IELTS and I am pretty scared that I will not be able to achieve the required band/score (CLB 9). Can anyone help me regarding this and clarifying my doubts. Will I be rejected from the process if I am not able to score CLB 9? Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

In IELTS,u need to score 6 band in each session. CLB should be 7 and not 9 . Pls double check

Hi Coolguy, thank you for replying. As per my evaluation report " Principal Applicant: To claim points awarded in English Language an IELTS test report [General Training] having a minimum scores as per CLB 9 is required. IELTS score less than CLB 7 is not acceptable to claim points." I require minimum score of CLB 9. If I don't score CLB 9 will my application be rejected? .. So if I am not a english laureate, I am not qualified? Please help. Thank You

You mentioned that you had applied for pr already...... I thought you had to send your ielts together with your application.....? Otherwise it maybe rejected. Someone correct me if am wrong..

Hi, Sorry for the wrong information. I have yet to apply and have not sent in my application as I have to take the IELTS test. The thing I am worried about is the score. As per my evaluation report, I need a score of CLB 9 to qualify. Is this true? I thought CLB 7 is the minimum to qualify for the process.

Ur statement is conflicting. Its clearly given minimum IELTS score of 7 CLB which is 6 band in each session of reading, writing,listening and speaking

I have never heard of minimum 8 band (which is 9 CLB) in canada immigration. U can check one of the thread FSW 2013 applicant where u will have more clarity
