Will CIC call friends/family?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if CIC will call the applicant's friends/family to interview or ask the application questions?
My spouse and I did the application ourselves and its quite a lot of info to divulge to friends and family in detail.
If CIC contacts the applicant's friends/family I don't want them to make a random guess on dates and such, and give incorrect info!

Anyone with any experience on this?

No - they won't contact family and friends. if they want an interview, they will call the applicant, sometimes the sponsor can be ask further questions, but that's it.
